Hi, I'm the Democratic socialist Republic Of Californias! I'd like to request placement on the map on area 17. MY capital is Aristes Valley, its located in the center of the number 17 area. 2 other major cities are each at each coast where water touches the area. Mountains are located where the border is between my are and area 35 and 33.

Sorry I took so long. Here are my thoughts:
I would like a decently sized mountain range in the middle of the island, which is mostly covered by coniferous forest, with deciduous in the foothills. Otherwise open land, for the most part. One or two (relatively small) rivers would be nice, at your discretion. As for cities, I took the liberty of (hastily) making a little mock-up of where they should be.
It looks kinda like plot 67 contracted chicken pox.

Capital and only city is furthest western point, surrounded by the water.
Deciduous forest in the South and coniferous in the North.
Mountain range through the middle up to the capital (East to West)
River running through mountain range, again, East to West, running thorough capital.
All forest or mountains, except capital.

There is a small island under 42, and I was wondering whether or not I could make that my spot on the map. If not okay then. If yes then....

Where your capital city is In the western lump like thingy 
Where, if you like, your major cities (up to 7) are located One city on the other island, one smack dab in the middle and one more you can put wherever is nice
If you have a metropolis area (those large red areas with the black squares and/or circles within)- a metropolis is not a metropolitan area like a conurbation or greater city, but a gigantic city larger than any that currently exist IRL.  N/A
If you have any rivers, and if so, where they are  River flowing from a point in the mountains to the large lake( as mentioned below) 
If you have any major (i.e. really massive) lakes, and if so, where they are
If you have any mountains, and if so, where they are   Lake is near the middle city, Mountains are all the way through the middle sorta like Corsica 
Deciduous (trees that lose their leaves in winter- e.g. oak, sycamore, birch) In mountain region
Mediterranean (foliage, including scrub and herbs, that would be found in Southern Europe) On the smaller island, in the main city at the southern most tip.

Hello, Avaerilon! On behalf of the great nation of Kolumbiyskiy, I humbly request Plot 10, if it is available (I couldn't find otherwise, looking through the thread).

Our capital is located at the southernmost point of the inlet in the north of the country. We have one major city in the south on the coast of the channel/river that makes up the southern border and another in the southeast in the mountains at the start of the river mentioned in the following.

There is a river running from a point just southeast of the middle of the plot and then north, through the capital, and into the ocean.

There is a mountain range covering the southeastern region from which the river flows.

There is coniferous forest in the northeastern region of the country, somewhat extending southwest along the edge of the moutains.

Yes!! I have found plot 87!
I would like it to be done in the same style as the other so maybe like this,
            
The mountains are triangles,
I added an extra river that forks off through my capital,
The green is deciduous forests,
The things I left blank are just normal land,

That would be great. I'd like four additional islands about a quarter of the size of main Austerain to the west or south, with some smaller ones (clusters maybe) :)

This would have been my request for the North islands if it would've been accepted as a rough idea:




I'd like one island to be rugged around the edges and mountainous with deciduous forest. The rest can be hilly with Mediterranean foliag, and coniferous and tropical forest (the coniferous being closer to the main island). On one island, one could have a large lake with a river flowing out of it. One city for each larger island.

I'd also like a few additional cities to my main island

There is a slight mistype in my nation's name. It is, on the map, "The People's Democratic Union of the Republic of Odd". However, the official title is "The People's Democratic Union of the Republic of the Odd". I would appreciate it if the missing word could be added.

On my nation, could the two cities east of the Rio Grande (Santa Fe and Albuquerque) be removed and replaced by one megalopolis along the Rio Grande which stretches to the current location of Santa Fe, and could that be made the capital?

Hello, I would like to request plot #3 on the map. 

• No additional rivers will be necessary. 
• I do not have a metropolis area.
• Around the edges where the land meets the water should be tropical rainforests. 
• On the edges where land borders other countries should be a steady strand of coniferous woodland.
• Near the middle of the country but a little to the southwest should be a few mountains fairly close to each other. 
• My capital city should be near the very southernmost part of the land. 
• There should be two other major cities: one located to the very left of the number "3," and one right along the river in the far northwest part of the area.
• There should be a giant blob of deciduous woodland in the middle of the map, sprouting more towards the southeast.

If you are confused about any of the above requirements, simply message me, and I will either make changes (if necessary) or clarify.

I'd like to request Plot 4.

The capital city is a mega city. It's in the area where the water juts into the land and then the land juts out into the water. Just south of the group of mega cities.
In the west part of the country is coniferous forest. In the south, especially on the coast, is deciduous woodland. There's also some east of the "4".
A major river goes right through the middle of the country.
There's a major city just west of the "4". There's also a major city in the area closest to the red island in the south. There's a mega city on the very northeast coast.

Avaerilon, first of all thank you for adding me to the map. However, there are some minor changes I would like you to make. I was hoping that the pale green color that takes up the southern islands as well as the southern and western edges of most of the islands would be Mediterranean, or the yellow-green color found on most of the other countries. Also, could you make the changes that I detailed in this image below?

Ava, sorry to be the next person to bother you, but I was curious what the scale of the map is regarding the distances? This information would be good for RP purposes

The map isn't to scale, actually! I'm happy to do a to-scale map if enough people would like one, though :) An early attempt was difficult in that you had a few nations (like mine) which were absolutely ginormous and some which were miniscule, and making a map that showed them all was tricky. However, I'm up for a challenge if needs be

How's this scale? The ratio between the kilometers and the miles is accurate (I checked with a ruler), and the area of the map as a whole would be about 58.5 million mi², about 30% of the Earth's surface area (196.9 million mi²).
