Hello - I would like to stake a claim on plot # 55, if possible. I'm The Most Serene Republic of Inndig Nation.
Capitol City - East of the number 55, straddling the river. Coniferous forest - running along the southern border. Mountainous area - eastern border. 2 more major cities, placed at your discretion. Any other topographical features you would deem advantageous may be placed at your discretion. Thank you.

Hi Avaerilon I would like to be on the regional map. My nation is The Federal Democratic Republic of Technoloplant. I would like to be located on spot #6. My capital city is in the center of my country. My country has one major river that starts from the mountain range on the north and go through the capital to the sea My country has a small mountain range on the north My country has several forests: * A large tropical one covers the capital city * A mixed Coniferous-tropical one covers the west of the country (this is the largest one) * Small coniferous ones on the east 5 major cities: *2 along the coast *1 on the western border *2 on the east I hope this is enough information. Thank you! :)

Hello Avaerilon I have to say I like your map a lot (and even with free coastline spots in the North!) and your newest member (am I member yet at all? If not, hope-to-be member :P) would like to find its place on the SLU map as well, if I am allowed to. The Democratic States of Ficiscia would like to be placed in spot #52 with the following features:
Capital city located at the coast, a little bit inland from where the river from 51 is entering the sea ("inland" like in Rotterdam, for example - close to the coast, but not exactly at it as the port would be between city and sea). If it's important, the center of the city is north of the river, but it spreads southwards as well.
Major cities: - one on the southern corner of the biggest peninsula things (the one that marks the beginning of the large bay) - one in the Southeast (exact placement up to you, but at the foot of the mountains) - one up in the North (on the coast, about where the coastline changes its direction for the first time) - one just north of the 52 where the river leaves the lake - one at the small bay where the straight northern part of the border changes into the first peninsula
If you have a metropolis area (those large red areas with the black squares and/or circles within)- a metropolis is not a metropolitan area like a conurbation or greater city, but a gigantic city larger than any that currently exist IRL. I don't.
If you have any rivers, and if so, where they are Running from the lake to the small bay with the last major city (through this city)
If you have any major (i.e. really massive) lakes, and if so, where they are Right on the number 52 (on the eastern side, so more on the 2 than on the 5)
If you have any mountains, and if so, where they are The southeast is mountains (continuing Inndig Nation's up along the border towards the river and spreading to the West along the border) The East (about the south half of the border to Vancovaria) is hills, if you indicate those. But nothing major, so you can leave them out on the map if you want, I leave that up to you.
Woodlands: The Mountain areas should be Coniferous, no trees along the coast and a dedicuous around the lake. Exact size/shape is up to you, but no foliage or tropical stuff.
If you need more information or I can't have a map space (yet) for any reason, please tell me. And of course thank you for all the work! :)

Ava, would you mind changing two of my cities with the next update? I just noticed now that something's a bit odd with them (as my nation-building got further along, I notice more and more things...) so that would be really cool :)
The one Northwest of the capital (if you go along the coast towards the North, the next one you meet) should be pushed up to where the river coming from the lake meets the sea. And the one north of where this one is now (on the southeast of that peninsula) should be pushed to the southwestern corner, so that it kind of mirrors the city of Cornelis on the other side of the bay.
If you don't mind even more changes, I'd be happy if you could move the "lake city" so that it actually borders the lake and expand all forests a little, but that's not really important, just if it's not much work. The two cities would be very appreciated though, as that would make it more coherent with my history.

Updated!
On another note, plots occupied by nations who no longer exist, except in certain special circumstances (i.e. significant contribution to region and/or long residency), will be made blank for future applications shortly :)

Out of all available option I think plot number 10 would be the best for me. I can provide the map I originally made if you need locations of stuff. It's in my factbook on NS anyway if you want me to link you to it for the information on what is where and the geography and stuff.

How updated is the Real Estate Analysis? I can't check all 22 pages, but it doesn't seem to match up entirely with the 2.5 map.

Apologies for the lengthy delay in updating the map. Soon after completing my university exams, my good computer has had to be sent away for repairs- as the map is over 1GB in size, I can't edit it on the potato laptop I have to slave over not xD As soon as possible, both the map and the Real Estate Analysis will be updated. Thank you for your patience and I can't wait to give you something new and shiny!

My laptop has been fixed and is on its way to me! When I'm free (I have the pleasure of being rather busy with my uni course, life in general and a screenplay), I will get working on updating the map asap. I'm really looking forward to doing so, and giving you an up-to-date map of the region that frankly few regions can hope to rival- mostly because you're all on it ^_^

So i wonder if one can get a map renovation/update. Changing the coastline and moving some mountain ranges. Maybe adding a few islands and peninsulas. That is assuming if Newhalla was not removed.

Newhalla - I'm sure Avaerilon would be happy to update you, however unfortunately it appears you were banjected by the raider administration. As we now have control of the region again, we'll get everyone reinvited again.

Hello, I'd like to claim plot #13. My nation is called The Ghoul's Republic of Whibland. I'm not sure how to link the picture directly to the text, so here's an imgur link imgur.com/TaOmMck.

My name is Zachary Corsetti, supreme commander of The Disputed Territories of Jackbox, a massive, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its closed borders, otherworldly petting zoo, and infamous sell-swords. My country will be blue on the map, I will be separated from other nations, due to my subpar policies right now (any help on issues?) and it will be shaped like a box.

I'm sorry to say I can't plot nations on the map until they reach member state status- you'll need your civil rights and political freedoms both at 'average' or higher before you qualify. For the issues, try answering them in a way which gives the population the most freedom, etc
