Catalan is spoken in most of southwestern Trefeqia, in the westernmost part , except in the northwest, an extremely small thin strip of land speaks Japanese, Spanish in the southernmost island and a very small portion of the southern peninsula, English in the northern islands and Trefeqi in the rest of the nation. Trefeqi is latinate.

The people of Nakoru speak a variety of different languages, due to the different ruling classes throughout history. The people in the most eastern part of the country, and parts of the north, particularly along the delta, speak either English or German, with the majority of the German speakers being in the east. The two islands in the north both speak Japanese as their main language. The central part of Nakoru speaks French. In the southern part of the country the people speak Swiss German( you could classify it as German), whil in the western part of the country they speak Swiss French( you could also classify this as French). Thanks so much! :D

Within the Empire of Kandorith there is an estimate of 21 dialects, the major dialects being the western Hóng people, who speak the dialect of the same name. They are mainly fishermen and traders, living in the South-west and some of the middle west regions of the nation.
On the two Islands you will find two different dialects aswell, Jinxia and Hújun, two very distinct and difficult dialects only spoken by the natives.
Although at least 95% of all the people within the Nation and all it's cultures Kandorese is the major spoken and written language.

Apologies for the poor quality of the overlay, I wanted to get this done quickly. Both languages are enhanced runic ideagraphs when written down. The green overlay is Khanoya, which is derived from Norse, and when spoken, sounds similar to Norwegian. The red overlay shows Nostranas, a language that is Asianic, but of unknown derivation. Both languages are taught in all Kanorian schools, the areas highlighted show the primarily spoken language, and roughly correspond to ancestral habitation. NB: Both languages now use the same Alphabet, and gradually seem to be merging. Ps. if you like, you can list them both as Khanoya, and thus Nordic.

Kingdom of Kalcetonia - Upper Left Corner Island Native Languages: The citizens of Kalcetonia are required to learn two languages: English and Kalcetonian. Kalcetonian is a fictitious ancient language from before there was a written language. Now since it has been passed down through the centuries with oral tradition, scholars have been able to write an alphabet for it.

All of Alterio speaks Catalan, but the very urban parts speak in French slightly more than Catalan.
Although our capital speaks English, due to communication.

I would also like to add that Tredian (latinate) is spoken in the southeast. The size of the land that speaks it is between small and medium.

Erasmania recently started a government funded Esperanto training program in its schools, that is quickly gaining power as a language. Beyond that, we are split fairly evenly between Spanish and English, with a large proportion of the population being bilingual.

I'm changing my mind, I don't want Trefeqi as a language and to be replaced with Tredian.

If it's not too late, or for some future version of the map here are my languages: Menardic (Germanic) in the NW, Jilkar (Altaic) on the extreme western promontory, and Garondish (Latinate heavily doused with Germanic) everywhere else.
UPDATE: I'd like to have the pointy area east of the big eastern river (between #5, the river, and Zmon) speak Zmoni (Uralic). Just love that word, "Zmon."

I got bored so I made a map :P (Latin and Arabic may appear not to be spoken by many folks but the areas in which they are spoken are the most densely populated)

Well, this looks like a reboot to me. I might ask a mod to lock this old thread so I can put a new one up- for one thing, all the info about Avaerilon here is outdated :P
