Er... first of all, you're breaking FLAVA by writing in a language other than English inappropriately. Does this mean I can't talk to NAR in Swedish? :'(

Native Zmoni is a Uralic language, closest relative being Estonian. Official numbers are 95% literacy in Estonian. Second language is Japanese, 8% of the population have it as native, about 12% of total population can speak it. Japanese is considered an isolate language, not part of a language family.

The population is concentrated in the heart of the country, around the capital city, and in the 2 southern regions. Japanese is really only spoken in the coastal cities. I just made a map in paint (my artistic abilities go no further): MAP

Pilau is multi-lingual. Although Malay is the native language, English and Chinese were introduced in by explorers in the 15th century and in many areas are now the exclusive language (having replaced Malay). However, that said, only English and Malay are official languages.

AFAIK I'm not on the regional map. I usually RP as a large island shaped and the same size as Borneo.

@zmon: I'm probably going to start it now, really.
@pilau: I'm basing the linguistic map off the regional map; if you're not on, then there's an issue.

Since he's using the regional map as the base, I would assume that you would need to be on the regional map to gain a place on the linguistic map. ;)

I believe since I made an addition to my country after I made my request for the regional map so um.. how about english in the capital, italian in the grasslands and also can I put portuguese in the mountains/med foliage but only in the north because portuguese is not very widely spoken at all.
