If you don't mind, I would like to put my country The Roleplay Tester (The Celtic Republic of Dailann)on the map.
• Where in the region you'd like your nation to be located #30 (The Celtic Republic of Dailann)
• Where your capital city is North of the central loch
• Where, if you like, your major cities (up to 7) are located One where the river flows out of the central loch, another one nestled beneath the northern mountain range
• If you have a metropolis area (those large red areas with the black squares and/or circles within) None
• If you have any rivers, and if so, where they are 3 rivers flow from our mountains and converge at a large loch in the middle of the country (I know you said no lake so it’s fine if you don’t include it)before the rivers flow south to join the main river in #32
• If you have any mountains, and if so, where they are Yes, it rings our country in the north and the west
• If you have any woodland or forest, and if so, where that is Yes, whatever makes it look the most ‘celtic’
Also, if you don't mind I would also like the raw copy of the map (With no text)
Last but not the least, thank you in advance!

Hi there! I saw that Likia had been added to the map, so I have a question. Is it possible for Likia to be moved more southward or for Feebland to be moved slightly to the west? I may sound like a scrooge right now, but I kinda like Feebland being a bit isolated. Thanks so much!

I may sound like a scrooge right now, but I kinda like Feebland being a bit isolated. Thanks so much! According to the cannon of Kanoria's national law, Kanoria was entirely cut off from the world for 300 years by extreme weather, with only a few boats escaping, and none entering. Given how close our nations are, I am sure that those weather patterns could easily isolate or part (isolate) you as well? (I came up with that story because of the scale of the map, I had originally thought to be far removed, like a real life Pacific Island, but through the curiosities of history, have joined the SLU anyway).

Actually, the map isn't to scale! I'll probably release a scale map (with cities, maybe large rivers and mountain ranges, but nothing else) sometime in the near future, though I'd need a lot of information from everyone. Why's it not to scale? Well, Avaerilon (excluding overseas territories) is larger than the European Union. I don't think most peoples' nations are quite that big... You can imagine how small and undetailed a lot of other nations would look :P If you really want, I can extend the map northwards and place you a little further away. :)

I was just wondering how Likia could have a mediterranean climate just south of Feebland's cool North European climate :p Maybe he could be more south? I probably sound really stubborn, don't I?

And I can give you so much detail about my nation it's not even funny. Just look at the detail in my military factbooks :p I also cut out and added a bit more detail to the map of Feebland, with city names and another river and such. Don't worry about adding it to the map, but if you want to check it out it's under "Geography" in my factbook.

Well, the map's been updated to give you some more room :) It also shows some more of the eastern continental area; once more of those desirable plots have been filled, we'll see more of the map... I already have the whole thing in my head, but there'd be at least 150 additional plots to add- maybe when our membership is soaring under the new MFA ;)

I think comments like that will get you more work to do Ava! Well done though, looks good, as always.
Just to be cheeky, given what you did for Feebland, could you just whack me as far due north as the map allows? Sorry to be annoying. But you do insist that our membership is down to me, not the region as a whole, with more influence on it from me, and more still from our awesome delegate, Minister of Domestic Affairs, and Minster of Immigration, who I know will be far better at making the region more desirable than myself!
(Not actually doing it out of spite, just want to make the cannon 'Kanoria, make a little more sense).
Thanks Ava.

Can Crakvonia request plot 40 as it's homeland. We are an easygoing people, and would be very grateful for the Royal Cartographer to shape our homeland in whatever way they see fit. As our official motto says, its "No worries".

Kanoria: no problem; but nobody ask to be moved anymore, please! Libera Espero: since the actual nature of the SLU is so fluid, it's a no-go. It was brought-up several times in the past, but due to the afore-mentioned geographical fluidity, it wouldn't make any sense- take the fact the map isn't to scale, for instance! @crakvonia: sure! My pleasure.

Nightie, comrades! Now that my status has been cleared as de facto member of SLU, I'd like to request a spot on the map, as well. Since this is a protectorate, the small spot at north coast, #45, is what I'd like to claim. As for the features and all, I took the liberty to design them as shown in the attached image. If any more information is needed, please ask :)

hi Avaerilon I'd like my nation stay in the regional map.
-I would like my nation in number #42. The Republic of Paleteiro. -I wish my capital city, Herek, is at the cape of the area. -Other two cities could be along the north coast and other 2 in the middle of the nation. -My capital will be a metropolis. -My nation has two important rivers in my nation: one flows near the cape and the other flows at the east of my nation. -My nation has a mountain range crossing the east part of the nation. -The mostly of my nation is a deciduous forest. that forest in the middle of the country.
Thank you Avaerilon.

Okay, this is my first forum post, so I thought I'd chime in.
For the Federal Socialist Utopia of Vancovaria -I'll take space number 44. -My capital city (Vancopolis) is located on the leftmost peninsula, with a metropolis that covers the peninsula extending just a little bit inland. -2 major cities are near the coast, and 2 more are far inland -A river comes from the southern part of the area (not quite touching area #7), splits in two, and heads in to the bays (one of them borders Vancopolis on the east side, the other goes out to the bay that borders the big peninsula to the east) -Mountains run the southern and western borders of the area. -Coniferous forests take up about half the nation, in the middle of the country extending to the southern border

Greetings Avaerilon, I've been a member state for while, and I've decided it would be a good time to claim a plot on the map. I also attached a rough example of what I would like. For the Federal Republic of Anaaxes: - Plot 41 please.
- The capital of is indicated with the black arrow.
- The 7 other major cities have red arrows.
- Only 1 metropolis area around the capital (taking up most of the peninsula).
- I have 3 major rivers drawn in blue.
- Some mountains near the back of the plot.
- A coniferous forest in and around the mountain area (roughly marked with green).
[Click to enlarge]Thank you in advance! :)

I took the liberty of omitting anything that wasn't present in the Hulls, so please don't think that I'm forgetting to mention something.
Where in the region you'd like your nation to be located: plot no. 55, please Where your capital city is: on the end of the long bay above the 55 Where, if you like, your major cities (up to 7) are located at the end of the bay on the eastern coast, at the end of the north eastern jut before getting to the northern islands, on the western coast (preferably near the middle), near the south western border on the bay, on east side of the bay west of the 55 (preferably near the middle) If you have any rivers, and if so, where they are: one that flows from the southern border, goes through the capital (I'll give you free reign on the exact course) If you have any woodland or forest, and if so, where that is Mediterranean foliage on the coasts, with more deciduous forests going inland. (I'll give you free reign on the exact boundaries.)
Thanks in advance. :)

There was a novel, and rather persuasive idea posted on the DSA forums by Avoria (a new member, it appears) a few minutes ago. I don't think we should be implementing it quite yet, but if we need to expand much further, then it might be worth looking at.
As I say, not for now, but when we need to look at expanding again, and have a few decent, willing map makers, who could do one or more continents each. (If I am still active at that point, I would probably enjoy doing so).

I don't think there's any need; I've got the map expansion plans drawn-up already for when more nations need to be added, though the map might be so big I'd have to divide it in-two; though the population of the map would have to be around 450+ for that to happen. Very interesting idea though, and it is something to consider.

Fair enough. As I said, it was something to consider next time you do expand it, or if there is ever a time when you no longer do the map, though that will hopefully be some time away.
