The Council Republic of North American Republics has declared war upon Equum Alatum for their actions against the naval forces of the North American Republics. Our ships are now en route to Equum Alatum waters carrying several divisions of militia and regulars, with one division each of armour and support vehicles coming up shortly behind it. We will give the Equum Alatum government 24 hours to respond to this declaration of war. If the government of Equum Alatum does not respond within that time, the full-scale invasion of Equum Alatum will begin.

The Grand Federation of Michutopia has voted to officially condemn this war and calls for both sides to reach a diplomatic solution before more lives are wasted.

Newhalla strongly condems NARs and Goncar actions. As a response to this all trade and joint operations whit these two nation are imediatly stopped. That means that Goncar troops particepating in operation mountain picnic must leave the country or they will be arrested. And if NAR and Goncar invade Equum then Allied States of Newhalla will be at war against NAR and Goncar.

Dear Leaders,

We wish to register our discomfort with the armed action that is taking place in our region. Avaerilon believed that the dispute over the gold vein had been solved by our claiming and incorporation of the vein and the surrounding area into our nation. As a nation that prides itself on peace, we feel appalled that military action and strong words have come to the surface.

It seems, however, that war has indeed come to Avaerilon. At 1405 local time this afternoon, numerous bomber aircraft attacked one of our major air-force bases, RAAF Fordolin, on the isle of Arnalor. This unwarranted attack grossly violates our sovereignty. Thankfully, no servicemen or other staff were injured in the assault. However, a major runway is now temporally out-of-use due to damage, and an early-warning RADAR tower is now damaged beyond repair.

Avaerilon wishes for the culprit, or culprits, to name themselves. We have done nothing that warrants such a barbarous assault on our nation. Unless we hear from a nation within 12 hours, as of now, we will be forced to declare that no non-civilian aircraft from any other nation may come with 100 miles of our nation. If such an aeroplane is caught violating our airspace, we will warn them to turn-around. If they persist, we will be forced to defend ourselves, via anti-air defence or intercept-via-aircraft.

Esteemed leaders,
We have given the leaders of Equum Alatum plenty of time to react to our message of war, but they have not responded. Our ships have now pierced deep into Equum Alatum waters and are headed towards their ports. We expect heavy resistance, but nothing that our troops cannot handle. The Goncaran troops are a welcome addition to the invasion and we have nothing but praise for Goncar; if Goncar needs any supplies, they need only to ask.

To address the Avaerilonian concerns, no part of our military has been anywhere near your territory since we restricted access to the gold vein. It is impossible that one of our bombers committed the actions, because we had no carriers in the area, although the airship that Equum Alatum sent may have been able to sneak some bombers off while we were engaged with the vehicle itself, but it is not our intention to place blame upon Equum Alatum for that terrible crime.

Newhalla, your pledge to attack us if a full-scale invasion of Equum Alatum has not deterred us, and in fact, we call upon our NATO allies to fight against the aggression of Newhalla, unless a formal alliance is formed between Equum Alatum and Newhalla, in which case the call for support is withdrawn.

We were hoping that they would reach out with some terms of peace, perhaps an apology for trying to disperse the blockade as well as a monetary offer for the death of the crew on our battleship, the N.A.R.S Robin. It appears as if that will not come, and so the invasion begins.

Avaerilon is pleased to be represented by His Excellency The Patrician, Lord Havelock Vetinari, on behalf of His Majesty The King. Lord Vetinari feels that, since he led the claim to the vein, which sparked-off this war, that he should represent Avaerilon. We are glad to be part of the efforts at Table Mountain, and thank Michutopia for this opportunity.

With regards to the possibility of NATO action, legal experts are divided over how to interpret the attack on the N.A.R.S. Robin. While it could be seen as a genuine act of aggression against a treaty member, it could also be seen as a defensive measure against encroachment. There will be wrangling over this matter over the coming days, we are sure. For now, we ask that our friends in the region cease military action, at least for a few days, to discuss the matter at hand. We would urge Newhalla in the strongest possible terms not to follow-through with their threat of war, although they feel they need to defend their interests. More nations engaging in warfare will only make the situation worse. If such an event were to occur, even Avaerilon might have to engage in action.

Newhalla will now also send a delegation to Equum capital for discussion about a potential mutual defense pact. Well if they don't get shoot down by NAR forces.

Additionally a large Hallan navy forcers compromised of the 2nd,3rd,5th fleets,12 transport and supplies group and 7 armored divisions are now being assembled for a potentially strike against NAR homelands. Of course this will be the very last option that will not be taken lightly. This option will only be taken if the peace talks fail.

Esteemed leader,
We are appalled that you portray us as barbaric peoples who would jump at a chance to disrupt the potential creation of a mutual defense pact. So long as the Council Republic of North American Republics and the Allied States of Newhalla are at peace, we will not shoot down any delegations from Newhalla.

With that being said, we must shift focus onto the current invasion of Equum Alatum. Our ships have reached an Equum Alatum port, after suffering from an intense bombardment by Equum Alatum aircraft and artillery. The 57^th Infantry Division, along with Goncaran 7^th Armourded Division were the first divisions to secure the port. Supplies are now being ferried into that port as we speak, because other ports have not been secured yet.

The N.A.R.S. Shabam will never come back home, nor will the soldiers and sailors on board, because Equum Alatum ships were able to bring it down. They will be sorely missed and their sacrifice will not be forgotten. Honorable mention must also go to the crew of the N.A.R.S. Bazinga and the crew of the N.A.R.S. Blagart; these two ships were sunk early on in the invasion after they collided trying to avoid a naval mine.

We are very lucky that we brought a carrier carrying several types of aircraft with us to be able to fight for air superiority and defense. It was instrumental in allowing us to create a small gap for NARan ships to pass. Fighting continues on behind the NARan ships, but our first priority was to land the troops.

The 23^rd Infantry Division is now engaged in street fighting just beyond the port, reinforcements are expected to reach them within the hour. So long as we are able to unload the rest of our troops, victory is assured!

We have taken no military action against anyone and feel this attack is unwarranted. If need be the entire earth battalion will mobilise and defend the colony-nation, but hope this is not necessary. we wish a diplomatic solution and condem this action. However our military is mobilised and ready. We have dug in around the port and will hold the NARan forces at bay.

We hasten to point out, our forces have no bombers in our air force, and have a good relationship with avearlion.

Esteemed leaders,
We have decided to pull back our battalions from the street fighting occurring just past the port. They are now hunkering down in the port. The Michutopian bombings have cut our supply lines and we cannot afford to keep up the offensive. Supplies are still coming in by canoe, but this mode of transportation is not efficient enough to sustain an offensive.

Equum Alatum, you claim that this military action was unwarranted, however, we warned that any attempts to penetrate our blockade would be dealt with with war. You sent your airship into the restricted zone, it did not matter whether it was on the sea or in the air, but we had to enforce our blockade through any means necessary. Thus we say that the this military action is completely warranted. All we ask for is a formal apology from the Equum Alatum government for attempting to penetrate the restricted zone and our troops will pull out of Equum Alatum. That is all we ask for and we are glad that some sort of response was elicited out of Equum Alatum. We call for an armistice between our troops in the interim while the Equum Alatum government decides on whether to accept our terms of peace.

We would also like to express our regret that the bombers of the Avaerilonian air bases have not been found. Once this conflict is resolved, we will be able to offer full support in finding them, so long as you will accept such aid.

Newhalla made a small scale non causality bombing on your capital Jacob-Martin whit five bombers. The bombers targeted a empty abounded warehouse. N-SIC operatives had the area under surveillance and reported that no people was in the house that we targeted. Newhalla is not responsible of the other bomber attacks on your cities Goncar.
