What do you think about the possibility of another world war sparking out?

Personally, I see the conflict between South and North korea being a bubble waiting to explode. We have Israel ready to bomb Iran, which is also another bubble waiting to explode. China wants to invade taiwan, another bubble. There's stuff poppin all round' the world, so what do you guys think?

Okay, Israel gets twitchy and invades/nukes Iran. Iran fights Israel and the US and Russia move to assist their respective allies. The rest of NATO, I believe, would not be so eager to get involved, unless China went to assist Russia, or some of the South-American countries took advantage of diverted attention to invade the Falklands.

Or, the situation of water in Africa grows worse and worse. I'm not exactly sure how that would factor in to a global catastrophe, but I see Russia+China versus The West on this one; which people each side props up, etc. That might lead to something else happening.

Don't forget that Afganistan wants the us out as well. And ps Iran already vowed to blow Israel of the face of the earth.

I believe Iran is mostly posturing, and China won't doing anything about Taiwan for a long time; the peace between the two has been remarkably stable for 60 years.

If there is to be an issue, it will be in N. Korea becoming politically unstable, with no stable leadership and coups. In that environment, I can see a candidate taking power with South Korean/Japanese backing who secedes the country to South Korea. China would almost immediately invade and fighting would occur between Korean/Japanese/NATO troops and Chinese/Communist Korean forces.

If they got their hands on one, the Communist Koreans would almost definitely nuke the Korean Allies. Such a crisis would rapidly escalate with, with nukes used on both sides of the Korean/Chinese border. Russia would remain uninvolved until the Allies started using nukes. At that point they would likely do border incursions, possibly seizing portions of the-now-former North Korea as a buffer zone.

On the whole, though, I expect such a war to be localized to the Korean Peninsula, but with heavy loss of life and the use of nuclear weapons

The World declares bankruptcy and China buys the world. there is then a sort of world wide underground vs china world-police. except scotland, which is to wet and uninteresting for us to be worth buying, so they invade us insdead but the gingers set fire to the army and scotland lives happily ever after. :)

OK, this is how it will go down:

First N. Korea gets politically unstable due to the lack of proper leadership and does another another attempt at invading S. Korea

Second the US goes with South Korea, and certain other NATO nations that are also US allies, they give certain provisions but mainly do not interfere, then Russia (hoping to keep good ties with N. Korea) and China (due to political ideology similarities) create an alliance with N. Korea

Third: Most of NATO and UN peacekeepers come in to try to keep the peace but N. Korea and its allies try to invade other countries to gain ground and helpful resources

Fourth: It turns into a allout 3 way war like WWII With the UN and NATO like the League of Nations with a bit more force, The US and Some US allies and NATO sympathizers like the Allies, and N. Korea, Russia and China, and its invaded countries like the Axis!

See how history will repeat itself...

China will almost certainly invade Nepal and Taiwan in the war and most Eastern countries will be captured with India and other southern countries like Bangladash joing the UN and NATO forces....

BUT THE BIG QUESTION IS: WILL AFGHANISTAN, PAKISTAN AND THE MIDDLE EAST JOIN THE NORTH KOREAN AXIS WITH ISRAEL IN THE ALLIES?
and WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AFRICA AND NORTHERN EUROPE?

^Nobody would ever have any purpose to invade Scandinavia. As for northern-European nations such as Germany, France, and the UK, they would join the US and South Korea. Africa would be split. I believe that in this World War scenario, Iran would attack a Sunni nation. Due to this, the Sunni nations of the World, including North Africa, would counterattack Iran. Subsahara African nations would be split up in different factions. Nations like Pakistan, India, Greece, Ukraine, and Belarus would be engulfed in civil war. Latin American nations would take sides, but I don't think many of them would get involved in the war.

Then latin america would side with my superior technology and eventually collapse into my empire. Europe would get smoked my Equum, aminly because they cannot afford anything.
