Our region prides itself on its liberal values. Lots of other socialist regions contain a number of corrupt dictatorships and authoritarian regimes, whilst many more regions contain only right wing conservative nations. So we keep our region just for the genuine Democratic socialists and social liberals. So if your politics are the same as ours, why not join!
Here are just a few reasons why you join the [region]Social Liberal Union[/region]:
[b]1.[/b] We are the Largest Liberal region in NationStates, with many new nations joining every day.
[b]2.[/b] We have an organized and vibrant democracy with regular elections held for the World Assembly Delegate.
[b]3.[/b] The Region also has a democratically elected cabinet, including ministers of Foreign and Domestic affairs, Immigration and Defense. All of which new nations can get immediately involved in.
[b]4.[/b] The [region]Social Liberal Union[/region] is incredibly lively, our regional message board is always buzzing with many nations that discuss a broad range of topics. And we also have an active forum that's busy with discussion.
[b]5.[/b] We have a large role-playing community, with many games and wars to take part in. We have a map where you can visibly see your own nation geographically and fun fantasy sports leagues where you can compete against your fellow nations.
