Communist takeover in Timpetotia!

After a short civil war in Timpetotia, the people, togheter with the army and the police stormed the embassy, where the corrupt politicians where trying to escape dressed as civilians. The new government is now trying to select a role model for the country, and the Yugoslavian communist system seems best for now. Do you support the new government or do you condemn it?

We welcome with open arms our new comrades. From everyone in the CRNAR, congratulations on toppling the old regime. We too underwent a such a revolution and we have only come out stronger and better than ever. We suggest that your country follow a model closer to ours, a system of councils that help run the nation.

We wish to inquire as to what you mean by "Communist". Are they the Marxist-Leninist type, the Leninist type, or Council Communists like us. As per your nation's "social libertarian" bent, we would hope it would be the latter as there is more freedom than the more authoritarian kind.

The new government is done! The new ruling party will be called the "Socialist Unity Party Timpetotia". The new government will support all of Timpetotias old open policies, but the market will be much more controlled, and the businesses such as oil, mining and deforestation will be nationalized. More coming soon!

A great writer in our nation has developed a general program that he believes would work in most large countries. It is as follows:

General Program for the Socialist Republic

This program is also in no particular order. Includes;

-The nationalization of public necessities, such as utilities, transportation, &/c.

-The establishment of farming cooperatives which would operate in an open market.

-The allowance for only worker cooperatives as “private enterprise”. These enterprises would be allowed to operate in an open market.

-The creation of a loans program that would help workers create their own cooperatives.

-The holding of weekly delegate meetings in a council of delegates to discuss, debate, and vote on economic issues, as well as social issues. The council of delegates will establish all economic laws while the council of delegates will decide on only major social issues. The workers councils themselves will decide on social issues.

-The full funding of education initiatives and the creation of a national program that can be adopted by schools, although councils themselves will have the final say in whether the schools may adopt the national program.

-Support for national hospitals and the establishment of a public health-care
system that would be available free of charge to all people.

-The creation of open borders and the abolition of the idea of citizenship.

-The creation of a country-wide food distribution organization that is run by the workers themselves. The workers will be paid by the government, but the government would have no say in the running of the organization, it may suggest.

-The right to a living wage for all public employees.

We believe it would work wonders in a formerly libertarian nation such as yours.

I am not really a fan of communism, so I'm not totally supportive of this idea. And cosidering how miserablly Yugoslavia Failed, are you sure about this? If you want, We will help Regain a more stable government.

Yugoslavia did not fail, in fact, it was one of the most successful socialist states (Communist refers only to the party in power and in fact is used as a form of deterrence for actual communist ideas). Yugoslavia failed due to increasing nationalism and other issues after Tito's death.

True. I'm not to keen on the Yugoslavian Conflict but I do know that It was that it Intergrated too many states. So, Go ahead Timpetotia
