8-). As Millyland said, it is very quiet in this board. How about theme parks in your area. Ill start with in my area, Adventure Island (which is a water park for you foreign peoples), Busch Gardens, and of course, Disneyworld.

Oakwood - Wales' largest theme park though it is rather run down nowadays. Been open for 25 years as of next year. It has Europe's largest wooden rollercoaster unless a bigger one has been built in the last couple of years. www.oakwoodthemepark.co.uk/

There's Walibi World, which is quite big, and the Efteling, which is more for younger kids, very family-oriented...then there's some smaller ones like Hellendoorn Adventure Park. The big coasters are primarily in Walibi World though ;)
There are some other types of theme parks as well, for example water parks, invention parks - which are theme parks where kids can build stuff - and of course we have seven indoor ski resorts, including world's largest - SnowWorld Landgraaf, the only indoor ski resort in the world allowed to organize competitions at World Cup level.

When I'm at home (on holiday from Uni) in North Yorkshire, I'm very near to several theme parks. There's Flamingoland- an outrageously overpriced safari-theme park combination. That gets full of school coach trips, annoying people and chavs. The animals are nice, but I think I'd rather be in Africa than sit behind plasti-glass all day at gorked at by ignorant chavs if I was a lion. Or maybe I'd escape and run amok.... just kidding guys :P Then there's Thorpe Park- a general theme park- and then Lightwater Valley, supposedly full of eyeball-jerking rides. I don't like roller-coasters or that kind of thing myself. I'd rather have a target range and some zombies. But you can't have everything in life...

The closest ones are Kennywood, which is realy just a bunch of rides and, Idlewild and SoakZone which is a park with rides in half and a water park in the other half.
