Embassy with Pacifica?

I've been contacted by Cormactopia Prime, the President of Pacifica, who expressed interest in establishing an embassy with our region.

Here is an excerpt of the message I received: 

Pacifica is a democratic republic, with a Regional Congress that is open to all citizens. The President, who also serves as head of state, World Assembly Delegate, and handles external affairs, is elected by the citizenry; as is the Prime Minister, who handles domestic affairs; and the Speaker, who presides over the Regional Congress. The Justices of our High Court and members of our Guardian Council are also confirmed by the Regional Congress, and are subject to reconfirmation every six months. Secretaries and Ministers are appointed by the President and Prime Minister without confirmation, but can be removed from office by the Regional Congress (as can all officials).



Although we are not an explicitly leftist region, we are a progressive region and we do strongly believe in liberal democracy.

This poll will serve as an advisory poll to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in making a decision on the matter.

I'm going to recommend no.

Two real reasons I guess.

1. Cormac is delegate. For those who have kept their noses out of GP for the most part, where Cormac goes, drama follows. He publishes leaks, switches alignments and has a tendency to create a scandal from anything. I have no idea whether he means to cause these issues but he does.

2. The region was founded when everyone hated the NPO for the sole reason of coordinating an effort against the order. By that token, I have no real idea whether or for how long the region will last. As I see it, Pacifica was created to fight the NPO and now the fight is over, I am uncertain where it will go from here.
