Hi all, As you may have already seen from the SLU Regional Happenings feed, we are closing our embassy with Yggdrasil. Recently, the government of Yggdrasil regrettably decided to cease holding elections, and instead have their Delegate (and other regional officials) be appointed by their Founder instead. When I was made aware of this, I was compelled to order the closure of our embassy with Yggdrasil, per our law -- which states, in Article 10, Section 3 of the Constitution, that states that in order to hold an embassy with the SLU, a region "must be democratically structured and support democracy at the very minimum."I want to close by stating that we have no hard feelings against Yggdrasil, and would gladly welcome embassies with them in the future, should elections be reinstated. We in the SLU government wish them the best for the future of their region, and hope that they flourish going forward. All nations are invited to take this opportunity to review the SLU Embassy policy.Thank you all for understanding, Courelli Minister of Foreign Affairs
