Greetings, Comrades
This is a special issue because we have a new writer on the team: Dankass Communes. You can see their first article on this issue.
Legislation Up For Vote
Hello Members of Congress, there are currently multiple bills on the floor on which you should all vote:
Ballot Security Act
This Act seeks to keep ballots secret during the time of voting on any matter of congressional voting.
Solidarity Act
This Act seeks to create a new Department under the Ministry of Role Play that will be in charge of running Solidarity, the newspaper you are reading right now.
Nomination of Wileyshire as Administrator Emeritus
This vote seeks to appoint the nation of Wileyshireto be an Administrator Emeritus, which is, according to the Charter,
"A veteran Cabinet Member that has had prior experience as an Administrator and is generally trusted by the Congress to retain Administrative Privileges in the Forum so as to serve the Cabinet as a Cabinet Aide with Administrative Privileges."
Censure Revision Act
This Act seeks to amend the MCJESUS Act, specifically the ability for the High Judge to have unilateral power to censure. This act is only up for discussion at the moment, however, and not for vote.

Interview with Korolevia
Our seventh interview is with Korolevia, who is, at the moment of this publication, the sitting Secretary General.
⦁ When did you first join NationStates?
How did you first hear about it? Right at the start of August of this year. I was bored during my summer vacation, I saw NS mentioned on Reddit a couple of times and I thought it would at least be a bit of a laugh.
⦁ When did you join the DSA? Were you just looking at regions when you found us or did you come through recruitment telegram?
The same day I joined NS, so right at the start of August and right at the start of the last Cabinet. The DSA recruitment telegram was one of the flurry I received in the first few hours but the region was the only one that really stood out and it seemed like a pretty cool community, so I joined.
⦁ What are some things you've come to enjoy about the DSA most? A favorite memory?
I suppose it’s just having this community really. The discussion and banter on the Discord, the extensive RP side of things and so on.
⦁ What do you do outside of NationStates? Examples: what your job (if employed)? Hobbies? Talents? etc
At the moment I’m studying History at university here in the UK. I don’t really have any talents but hobby-wise I enjoy listening to music (Manic Street Preachers, Public Service Broadcasting, Arcade Fire, David Bowie and Rammstein to name a few favourites) and I guess just watching various films and TV shows (favourite film Apocalypse Now, favourite TV show Mad Men, don’t @ me). At the end of the day I’m not a particularly exciting person to be honest.
⦁ What made you first want to enter DSA government? What made you want to enter for this cabinet?
My first role was as the Regional Weather Service Executive under the MoRP (I won’t comment on how well that went) and I suppose I took it up because it seemed like a nice way to get into the RP a bit more and the DSA as a whole. Then in terms of joining the Cabinet I wasn’t really planning to run for anything until Ivory suggested I at least have another look at what each role entailed, so I did and figured I could be an alright Sec-Gen so put myself forward.
⦁ Who are some people whom you've come to consider good friends in the DSA?
Well I’ve only been here 3 months and I have a weird relationship with the term ‘friend’ in real life as it is, so I don’t really know. I just enjoy talking to people on the Discord and I guess I’ll leave it at that.
⦁ What are your plans for the future in your life? What do you hope to be or accomplish before you die? Or more simply and less macabre, within the next 20 years?
Career-wise there’s a couple of civil service programmes I want to apply for but I have no idea beyond that. In general terms there’s a lot of travelling I want to do and probably my only real life goal as such is to spend some time living abroad.
