Breaking News from the Crysinian Government, 8:38 PM 1/15/2017
The Crysinian Government has announced plans to repeal the law on noise in the city. Yesterday a group of silent protestors, who communicated with the President with handwritten letters, demanded that noise limits be put in place. The bill to ban all noises louder than a whisper was passed through Congress and approved by the President. Now the government is under fire for their decision.
Many families in major cities have been heavily penalized for their crying children, which as one parent Ella Maris said to us an interview, " It makes me damned angry to know that I had to pay a fine for my crying infant! It's not like I had the choice of whether or not the child could cry so loudly! Babies cry, and just because there are laws doesn't mean Babies won't cry! "
Erick Scott, a proud owner of Thirteen birds also spoke his mind in an interview. " I own many loud birds. Cockatoos, Macaws, etcetera. I didn't hear about this bill until a policeman came to my door last night asking me to pay a five hundred dollar fine because my birds were loud. Look, birds are naturally that way. What am I supposed to do about a noisy bird? I love all my birds and I refuse to keep paying fines or give them away because they make sounds. " Many other pet owners in the region are also outraged by the bill.
The President just finished speaking about the issue at 8:33 PM today. "...We realize we took drastic measures to accommodate the needs of the protestors. However, I feel as if it was a mistake. We do agree that loud construction noises need to tone it down quite a bit. After all, since we are so close to nature, it would be terrible to damage the ears of the beloved animals... However, banning anything above a whisper was appalling, to say the least... We promise we will look into a way to fix this. "
No word has been said about what is going to be done. We will keep you all updated as more details are made public.

Abridged Transcript of a 5:00 PM broadcast from the CNN television channel, 1/16/2018. Transcript was written during the broadcasting of the live show, and any mistakes are not at the fault of the CNN anchors.
We are following the story we reported yesterday of the outcry on the Noise Ban Law. We are happy to announce that the Noise Ban Law has now been repealed and replaced with the Crysinial Hearing Protection Act of 2018 has been passed.
The Crysinial Hearing Protection Act makes all sounds above 85 decibels illegal unless the government has given approval to it. Similar to the Noise Ban Law, the only punishment for going about 85 decibels is a fine for the first few times the sound has been made without government approval. After that, the punishments may range from the company causing the sounds to be shut down or the person causing the sound to get at least two weeks of prison time. This unfortunately for the time being will still lead to common life in Crysinia to be held up for a bit.
All flights in and out of Crysinian Airports are canceled until the jet engines of the planes are approved of. Construction in some places has halted while workers wait until officials can approve the construction site. Certain pet owners and parents are lined up at government buildings to get noise permits.
" I know my child might not by that loud, " one parent who wanted to stay anonymous told us. " But it is best to get one just in case. I can't afford another five hundred dollars for my son's crying fits. "
We can all hope that Crysinia's government will fix mistakes like this in the future.

Abridged Transcript of a 4:30 PM broadcast from the CNN television channel, 2/10/2018. The transcript was written during the broadcasting of the live show, and any mistakes are not at the fault of the CNN anchors.
There has been a hot debate between pro-life and pro-choice groups all over Crysinia after a high-profile case of a pregnant woman aborting her foetus because she reportedly " didn't feel like giving birth to it " hit the internet by storm.
The woman has been named "Miss X" by tabloids, and people have been both bashing her and supported her on Twitter. Twitter user @sparkles_:) said, " Finally, someone can choose not to have a baby after being pregnant! ". Another Twitter user named @skylerr said " What a horrible reason for abortion! I get it if you were raped or you were a surrogate and the parents died, but why this? Poor child. "
Chun-Li Peters, the lawyer for Miss X, told us " It is Miss X's right to choose! It's her body; she can do whatever she wants with it...abortion MUST be legal throughout the country! "
Well-known pro-life activist, Hercules Weasley told us " I most vehemently disagree. I'm all for women's rights...but what about the child? Does it have no rights? Abortion is...immoral, and I insist that it be outlawed except in cases of tape, or when the mother's life is in danger. "
Some others have said that abortion is complete and total murder. Some said that banning Abortion would ruin the already unstable Civil Rights situation going on with Crysinia at the moment. Some have even said that Crysinia should go with a one child per family policy to the rising population in Crysinia, which now stands at a whopping 107 million people.
During a speech moments ago, the Leader of Crysinia said that they would rather choose to make abortion legal, as it would be better for the women to choose whether she can keep the child or not she can keep the child. Some people are outraged by this, but the law is already going through as we speak.
