I read their constitution and while a bit more radical socialist than our regional standards, they are a democratical region that guarantee equality for all and seem to be very active in general.

We are going to no longer pursue this embassy as they are a constitutional monarchy.... Something I did not see.

You must have read a different constitution than I, Kyra.
Wintercrest is a single-party constitutional monarchy at best, where the "Regional Mothers" (the co-founders) serve for life, may dissolve their legislature, may amend the constitution without ratification, may create law by decree, and serve as the ultimate judicial authority.
It sounds to me like a monarchy that uses flowery language and socialist imagery to give its people the illusion of democracy.
By that, I voted no.

It did seem like a democratical region to me. They really do use flowery wording like you said to make it seem much grander.
