October 2017 Election

Chancellor
NOMINATION AND CAMPAIGNING PERIOD
Nominations and campaigning for the October 2017 Chancellor Election are now open, and will last until October 3rd. Voting will begin immediately thereafter.
HOW TO NOMINATE
Member States may nominate themselves or another Member State by replying to this thread.
NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
All nominees must have been Member States for at least two months in order to be eligible to stand for election. Nations who have served two terms consecutively as Chancellor are not eligible for nomination.
ABOUT THE OFFICE OF CHANCELLOR
The Chancellor is the presiding officer of the Court of Justice and the chief officer of the judicial branch. The Court of Justice is both the trial and final appellate court of the region.

The nomination shall be recorded as accepted, and an approval election for the one present candidate shall be held if no other eligible candidates are nominated in 4 hours when nominations close.
