For roleplay purposes, what would you all think about having a regional anthem? I have a few suggestions:
La Marseillaise, which is the national anthem of France, is a rousing number. The mention of rising against tyrants could serve as reference to the Invaders' raid last year, though the lyrics could be too militaristic
~~~
Ode to Joy (Symphony No. 9) by Beethoven is the anthem of the European Union. This classic is a message of unity and joy.
~~~
The Hymn of Joy is a stirring interpretation of Beethoven's Ode to Joy. The lyrics are a message of love and joy, although too religious
~~~
Something less serious but still appropriate, C Is For Cookie will commemorate our regional snack
~~~
A message of friendship and solidarity to the tribulations of life
~~~
Other suggestions are welcome.
I'm a composer, I'd be happy to help out if we had it in mind to create something original.
