To the esteemed Member States of the Social Liberal Union - Greetings!
I am Courelli, and I am running to be the next Minister of Domestic Affairs for the Social Liberal Union.
ABOUT ME
I am fairly new to the SLU, although I have known about the Union for quite some time, and both envied and respected its mission and work. I have been playing NationStates for several years, although with several other nations, which have since CTE'd. Before I came to the SLU, I was the Delegate of a small region named the United Coalition.

MY PLATFORM
First and foremost, as Minister of Domestic Affairs, I would like to establish an environment of involvement, transparency, and accessibility. All Member States, whether a newcomer or a veteran, deserve a well-structured, user-friendly region, whose Government is accessible to answer questions, hear feedback, or have a friendly chat.
Secondly, I'd like to revive some of the SLU's flagship roleplay programs, such as City of Culture and Council of Leaders, as well as new roleplay mediums. Activity and engagement on a large scale is absolutely essential to maintain a large region, and promote growth within our region.
I would also like to "de-clutter" the forum. Speaking from experience as a newer player, I can testify that the SLU forum is cluttered with dead, outdated threads from years ago, which makes the forum almost unusable to someone unfamiliar with how to navigate it.
Along that same line, most of the Forum Introduction/FAQ threads are horrendously outdated, which makes it even harder for newer players to learn about our wonderful region. As Minister of Domestic Affairs, I would work closely with the Delegate and the Speaker of the Union to revise these threads into thorough, yet concise, guides to the Social Liberal Union of the modern age.
My Ministry would strive for more activity on the regional Discord chat. Whether you want to chat about your day at work or school, roleplay with your friends, spam memes, or play some cool Discord games, my Ministry will have something for you.
Along with our esteemed Delegate, Austerain , I would like to promote, but not require in any way, the use of Twitter accounts as a roleplay tool. This provides a more realistic feel to modern international relations. You can find Governor Joshua B. Thomas of Courelli on Twitter at @courelligov.
