Ministerial Nominations June 2017

[Election Administrator]

Following the re-election of Austerain as World Assembly Delegate, a new term has begun. Thus, according to article 6 section 1 new ministerial elections have automatically been triggered. 

The following positions are to be elected: 

Foreign Affairs

      Minister of Foreign Affairs: responsible for inter-regional diplomacy, negotiations, embassy requirements, the management of Embassies & Ambassadors, intelligence, defense, treaties, events that involve multiple regions, and promoting the SLU abroad.
       Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs: Responsible for assisting the minister and for acting as minister at times when the minister is unavailable. Elected as the nation with the second highest number of votes after eliminations take place in accordance with the Instant-Runoff system.

Domestic Affairs

     Minister of Domestic Affairs: Responsible for regional activities, regional involvement, regional morale, legal prosecutions & government representation via the attorney general, standards of decency, the world factbook entry, the regional forum, polls, and communications
     Deputy Minister of Domestic Affairs: Responsible for assisting the minister and for acting as minister at times when the minister is unavailable. Elected as the nation with the second highest number of votes after eliminations take place in accordance with the Instant-Runoff system.

Immigration

    Minister of Immigration:  Responsible for Recruitment, immigration records, status of member and non-member states, compliance with regional and extra regional regulations where applicable, and recruitment personnel & tools
    Deputy Minister of Immigration: Responsible for assisting the minister and for acting as minister at times when the minister is unavailable. Elected as the nation with the second highest number of votes after eliminations take place in accordance with the Instant-Runoff system.
