May 2017 Election for Chancellor
So, what is this? This is the nominations thread for the Chancellorship of the Social Liberal Union. If the third constitutional proposal is passed, the nation elected shall become the inaugural holder of the Chancellorship.OK then, what do I do?You can nominate other nations or yourself (noting that other members would have to accept your nomination) to the election. Nominations run for a week, after which voting shall begin. Nations which want to run should have a firm understanding of SLU law, and should read the new constitutional proposal, given that they would lead the judicial branch under it.

I must regrettably decline the nomination. Real life events take precedence.

With such a field of candidates as we have here, I am pleased to say that I won't be standing as I am confident in saying that all three currently declared candidates would perform the role better than I myself would be able to as things stand.
I thus decline the very kind and flattering nomination from Odd Republic and look forward to working with the future chancellor and the rest of the region to continue and improve the SLU's proud history of democracy, freedom, compassion and justice.
