We do not believe in censorship, in fact we openly promote complete free exchange of information.
That being said, though, we also think freely given consent and public safety are critical. Thus we have strict rules about who can and can not give consent, in what situations, and what consent constitutes as. These standards are determined by the department of social welfare and addressed by the parliament at large. All materiel on our publicly funded channels, including our news channel, must come with tags at the bottom of the screen that lists possible sensitive topics that may/will arise. What constitutes a "sensitive topics" is addressed by the parliament at large, the department of social welfare, and the department of media. Thus allowing citizens to "self-censor." If they so choose.
Private channels are not required to follow this model, however they are actively encouraged to.
