DECLARATION OF RESULTS
Good evening, and welcome to this most auspicious occasion- the official declaration of results, announcing the winner of the 2nd SLU City of Culture. Delegates and officials are warmly invited to this presentation in the Maricawt Regnerol Līreglon, the Royal Opera House, here in the fine city of Anc-Myrloch, winner of the 1st SLU City of Culture.
This time we have seen more cities entering, with even more vigour and energy put into their respective bids. This year, we have seen even more of the flavour and soul of the region than before, and have had a chance to enjoy the fine cultures of more nations in our region than before.
Each bid was considered carefully, and we have been waiting in great anticipation of the results. As per procedure, the candidate cities' appropriate authorities were given the task of voting, and the results have duly been collected and counted.
Therefore, we are honoured to announce the following:
BREMEN, WESTERHEIM: 2 votes (1st preferences), 0 votes (2nd preferences)
LEOPOLDERHÜGEL/KAI MANU, MONS GARLE: 1 vote (1st preferences), 1 vote (2nd preferences)
SENMERI, CHAMELIYA: 0 votes (1st preferences), 2 votes (2nd preferences)
Ergo, the fine city of Bremen, located in the Federal Republic of Westerheim, is the winner of the 2nd SLU City of Culture!
Llendaesola!
Congratulations!
We immensely enjoyed viewing the bids presented by all candidates, but Bremen's emerged as the strongest, and therefore it gives us great pleasure to pass the title and the torch onto the fine and proud city of Bremen. We in Anc-Myrloch bid you the very best of luck, and wish you well in your future. We have enjoyed the immense honour of hosting this competition, and look forward to seeing your city do the same. As such, responsibility for organising the 3rd SLU City of Culture competition is now the domain of the Stadtbürgerschaft Bremen, to take place in the near future.
Thank you all for your bids, your presence, and your dedication to celebrating and promoting the different cultures of this fair region. We are immensely gratified and look forward to seeing the future.
Val hest!
Farewell!
