Hello!
I'm your recently elected Minister of Foreign Affairs Northern Inertia, and I am now running for re-election. I hope for your support in this election, as I look to continue with my efforts to reinvigorate the foreing relations of this region as well as maintaining its defence.
During the past term we have welcomed a new ally and friend, the LSI. I am currently working on establishing more permanent relations with them – including hopefully installing an ambassador soon. I'd like to create an open dialogue with the region which would not only allow us to get to know each other better, but also make sure they know they can rely on us for help in making their region more established.
I will also continue looking for other potential allies – perhaps more slightly less-established regions like the LSI that we could give help. The main guiding light in my search for new allies as well as in the maintenance of old ties will continue to be a need for the SLU, as well as the other region, to benefit from the relationship.
In terms of our existing ties, I'm excited by the evident enthusiasm for interregional roleplay, as well as other events. I will work closely with any willing DA minister in realising such plans. I'd also like the SLU to participate in the upcoming NS World Fair, if there is interest in the region. I see this as a great opportunity for a multitude of nations getting involved in promoting the region using their specific strengths.
In terms of regional defence, I will work to maintain an active CUS, coordinated and led by the Chief Officer, which should form the backbone of our region's defence. I will also work with the delegate on further measures to secure the region, especially in the case of emergency.
Please vote, and remember that you are keeping the values of the region alive by doing so!
