Anaaxes for Minister of Foreign Affairs
Hello there! I'm Anaaxes, and I'm excited to announce my candidacy for SLU's Minister of Foreign Affairs. I would also like to reveal a list of goals I would direct my focus to, if elected as minister. - Protecting and promoting our region's interests abroad
- Representing our region at the international level
- Establishing and strengthening international contacts
- Opening embassies with new allies, when appropriate
- Assist in the planning and organization of inter-regional events
- Organizing and leading our diplomats effectively
- Maintaining an active diplomatic presence in relevant regions
- Setting up and updating a list of active and inactive diplomats
- Publishing detailed weekly reports
- Informing member states of the relevant regional affairs abroad
- Allowing government officials to make educated decisions regarding foreign policy
I have the region's best interest at heart and I will perform my duties with utmost professionalism. If you have any questions, I encourage you to post them below, and I'll be sure to respond as soon as possible. Remember to vote for Anaaxes as your Minister of Foreign Affairs!

Now that's a slick campaign; well-done! :)
What do you feel the SLU should do in-terms of more cooperation on, for instance, interregional events with our partner regions?

I would have no objection to interrgional events. However, we would have to discuss new events with our own region and our partners. Some possibilities could be an interregional forum, joint military exercises, interregional sports competitions, and so forth. We could also focus on existing projects, like rebooting the Solidarity newspaper we have with the DSA.
