Good evening, the Kanorian International time is now 70 minutes to midnight, and you are watching TLPB Midnight News. Our main headlines tonight:
A family of Kanorian nationals have been burned to death in a public display of isolationism. The family, who had been visiting relatives in Acachatcho, had reportedly been kept in filth in the cage they were burned in for as long as 4 weeks. The names of the family have yet to be released, but we are expecting far more from the ruler of the remote Island village, and from the national council of Kanoria, to be delivered by the Jarlessar herself, within the next 90 minutes. Much more as soon as we have it.
Seventeen people have been taken in for questioning following an attempt by prominent pro-military activists to re-open the gates to a factory in Horgr that had been accused of secretly making inhumane weapons, and attempting to pass them off as toys. The inspection of the factory had been due to take place during this week, but will now be delayed for at least four weeks while Skjaldborg officers ensure that no more activists could reach the factory grounds and put the inspectors in danger.
In Aes today, thousands of people have gathered to distill Crisillith Willow Wine to be layed down in the ancient caves to be uncorked next year at the beginning of First Footing. The traditional celebration, that this year lasted an unusually short 12 days, has once again left the nation tired, but happy, having rung in the new year in truly spectacular style. Check out the pictures on the network site wherever you are.
