I am going to be away for a total of four weeks during the next term of office, so I do not feel I would be able to best serve the region at this point. As such, I wish to politely decline the nomination. However, I fully intend to run for regional office at the next election.
I also wish to nominate Gaiaopolis for the position of Speaker.
