As recent the anti-Avaerlonian and anti-CAT demonstrations has flared up. And as an election promise the current Red-Green coalition holds a national referendum on Newhallas future in the CAT alliance. All Newhallan citizens abroad are eligible to vote on this matter.

Open Communique to Newhalla from the Desk of the People's Commissar

The Newhallans residing on our island and Pont de Roche have decided, by a factor of ~4:1, that Newhalla should leave CAT. They, as does the Naran government, admire the courage the Newhallan government has in proposing this act in the face of international bullying and exploitation at the hands of the Avaerilonian government and capitalist class. The workers have realized, time and time again, that international prosperity and peace can only come with the destruction of the international ruling class that continues to exploit the underclass.
