I know that I am not the Minister of Domestic Affairs, nor am I the Deputy Minister, but I still feel compelled to make this thread. I think that, when it comes to communiques, we should make use of the various tools offered by the forum to set up different classifications, three different classifications to be exact. This can help advance role-play in different ways, but it is only a suggestion.
This would mean that any statements written in plain text in alliance threads can be used by enemy countries (I'm looking at you CAT), statements within spoilers can only be used by enemy countries if their intelligence community is at the same level or higher than the targeted country (my message to the Soldiers for Freedom), and statements in white text within quotes can only be used by enemy countries if they sack the government of the target country or the embassy/consulate of the target country within the country that received said communique.
Thoughts?
- An open/unsecured communique is one that can be read as plainly as this; mere text.
- A confidential/lightly to moderately secured communique is one within spoilers; enemy countries, should their intelligence service be up to par, can find out about these, role-play-wise, but otherwise they cannot be "read" by the enemy.
- A high confidential/state secret/highly secured communique is one written in white text and put into quotes. It cannot be "read" by the enemy unless the target country's embassy/consulate in the sender's country is sacked or the center of the recipient's country's government/foreign affairs ministry is sacked.
