I'll use Occam's Razor on this: you're a figment of my imagination. However, there is a paradox here because I could just as easily be a figment of your imagination. Etc, etc.

And in the teenager-->philosopher corner,

1. If I am a figment of your imagination and you are a figment of my imagination, then we are both figments of imagination, rendering our view of reality as flawed.

2. If I am a figment of your imagination and you are a part of reality, and vice versa, then I/you am/are not real, even if I/you claim that I/you am/are. Perceptions of reality are still flawed on one end.

3. If neither one of us are figments of either ones imagination, then our perception of reality is nominally correct, although if another person comes along and decides that we are figments of his/her imagination, we are back to step 2.

If our perception of reality is going to always remain flawed, then how can one determine if there can really be paradoxes?

Who's to say that your thoughts are not figments of another's imagination? Who's to say that you control your own thoughts?
