Does your nation have a national dish? You might have several, but is there a semi-official meal that your citizens enjoy, or something that has prominence on a special occasion?
Avaerilon's national dish for the last two centuries combines 4 components from each of the isles; lasagne from Fereldan, salad from Arnalor, chipped, fried potatoes from Dunaemair and Shein (a red wine made from comberries) from Morrowind is often drunk with it. There is no fixed given name for this, although many people seem to refer to it as "the Avaerilonian."
This hearty meal is often eaten with a starter and dessert afterwards, at various points throughout the year. Many people eat it (or a vegetarian equivalent) on the current monarch's birthday.

People's Commissar Bryan was noted as saying, "Roasted Robin is served in all state cafeterias, and most people like it. I suppose that it could be considered a national dish. Whenever I go to eat lunch at the nearest cafeteria, I always ask for roasted robin with a side of mashed potatoes. Good old comfort food..."

Afen, having origins as several city states fighting for dominance over the island, has many different popular dishes. Some of which are traditional, other that have been brought by foreigners, such as our many Spanish and Greek Dishes. However, one dish has nearly universal acceptance as the nations favourite dish. This mighty dish is the stuff of legends. Brought over by English Explorers, it quickly gained its place among the Afenian diet. That dish is:
...
The Ham Sandwich.
On a side note, I never knew the Celtic people were so good at making lasagne, until I tried the Avaerilonian.

Officially Newhalla doesn't have any national dishes. But the unofficial dish must be the Pelt'i'palt. A very tasty Pelt'i'palt Made of raw potatoes, barley flour and in some cases some pork or blood is added to change the flavor and color. The Pelt'i'palt is also traditionally eaten whit Lingonberry jam (lingone sylt in Hallane(primary language in Newhalla) and butter. A somewhat odd meal but ehhhh :P.

Goncar national animal, a Gickle, is consisted that make the three national dishes. A Gickle is a thing close to a cow. The first dish is called " Jacob-Martin Style CheeseSteak Sandwich". It consists of fresh sliced Gickle Meat with Provolone Cheese on a Goncaran Roll ( a mix between Cuban and French Bread). The next dish is a Gickle Roast Pizza. It is a no sauce pizza with Gickle Meat roasted for 24 hours and placed on a pizza with nicely cooked crust with a sprinkle of cheese. Gickle Parmasean with a garnish of Penne Noodles is the third dish. Gickles cooked to perfection with tomato sauce placed on top with Penne Noodles cooked to a perfect color. It is a clear favorite to the Citizens of Goncar and neighboring country, The IslandCity of Burnham. Thanks!
