Ooh. The IDU delegate (the guy who sabotaged my GA proposal :P ) suppressed the post. I accidentally left "REGION_NAME" in the message, but then I am quite exhausted from an intensive language course. He (or she?) told me to post in the forum next time, without being polite. Well... :P

As the current Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Social Liberal Union, I was made aware today by Rhygwd that you have surpressed a diplomatic message by him on yuur region's regional message board. Rhygwd is the Ambassador of the SLU to the IDU. While not being entirely informed of the circumstances of the situation, I grow concerned when an Ambassador tells me he doesn't feel entirely comfortable with the way he was handled. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Social Liberal Union feels a good relationship between our two regions is important. As such, I trust you have acted in good faith and did not mean to offend our Ambassador. I have told Rhygwd's owner, The Incredibly Nice Kingdom of Avaerilon, that you meant well and, like us, believe in a good ambassadorial relationship.

Also, per SLU policy, I would like to ask you to either allow diplomatic posts on the regional message board or allow Rhygwd to post on the IDU's forum. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is being revamped at the moment, and a large part of it is posting more regular updates on the SLU than we have done in the past.

I have received a reply to my TG from the IDU's Delegate:

The circumstances were this; the message was posted on our RMB, against convention, which is to use the forums. However, I would have been content to simply ask the ambassador to use the forums next time and leave the post stand, if not for the fact that the ambassador had failed to actually fill our region's name into the slot on his mass-produced message, instead referring to the IDU as REGION_NAME. I suppressed the post only because of this oversight that represented a lack of care towards our region and had the potential to give a bad impression of your region to the residents of the IDU, which would have been counter to our shared goals of promoting healthy diplomacy between our regions. I apologise if I made Rhygwd uncomfortable, I honestly can't remember what I said or in what tone, as NS doesn't keep sent messages.

Thank you for replying to my telegram and explaining the situation with the SLU Ambassador's post on your regional RMB to me. I can confirm the message was meant to be posted on multiple RMBs; I have asked all Ambassadors to post it on the RMB of the regions they represent the SLU in. However, The E By Gum Lad's T'Ambassador of Rhygwd, under influence from a very busy and intensive week of language courses, forgot to correctly modify the telegram's content.

I apologize to you and the region for Rhygwd's actions and on the Ministry's behalf. Rhygwd promised to make sure he will post future diplomatical messages on your region's forum.

Post for the ministerial election, please remember to change the REGION_NAME and AMBASSADOR_NAME appropriately:

Hi REGION_NAME members,

Earlier on today, the results of the SLU´s ministerial elections were published. We´re happy to see a Cabinet consisting of a varied mix of the experienced and less-experienced and members from North America, Europe and Africa.

One of our longest-serving Cabinet members, [nation]Azerzia[/nation] (1 year and 9 months, including several terms as Delegate), will step down as a result of the elections. We thank him for his important contributions to the region over the past years. The Deputy Minister of Defense in the First [nation=short]Millyland[/nation] Cabinet, [nation]Nytavuthar[/nation], will also step down because of the results of the election. [nation]Gunir[/nation], another long-standing member of the region, resigned mid-term due to personal circumstances, making Deputy Minister [nation]Comanici[/nation] responsible for the Ministry of Immigration after one month. We thank [nation=short]Gunir[/nation] for his contribution to the region. [nation=short]Comanici[/nation] can continue serving in Immigration, but this time as the elected Minister.
