NOMINATION AND CAMPAIGNING PERIOD
Nominations and campaigning for the October 2017 Delegate Election are now open, and will last for one one week. Voting will begin immediately thereafter.

HOW TO NOMINATE
Member States may nominate themselves or another Member State by replying to this thread.

NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS
All nominees must have been Member States for at least three months and be members of the World Assembly in order to be eligible to stand for election. Nations who have served two terms consecutively as Delegate are not eligible for nomination, excluding terms under the Second Constitution.

ABOUT THE OFFICE OF WORLD ASSEMBLY DELEGATE
The World Assembly Delegate is the presiding officer of the Cabinet, the chief officer of the executive branch, and the official representative of the Social Liberal Union to the World Assembly, in both the General Assembly and the Security Council.

Pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the Social Liberal Union, it is my duty to declare that The Republic of Courelli has been duly-elected as the 12th World Assembly Delegate of the Social Liberal Union, to 4 month term beginning immediately today, 23 October 2017 (UTC).

The results of the election are as follows:
