#AUSTERAIN4DELEGATE
PART TWO
Member States of SLU,
It has been an honor to have been your World Assembly Delegate since March. I have had the pleasure of working with excellent individuals in the Cabinet and the Speaker to keep the region running under its strong and stable leadership. This term, roleplay participation has grown on the RMB and in the forums and the MoI has been actively keeping out those who threaten the peace of our region. The start of the term was rocky at first as we offered bold and new "out-of-the-bubble" foreign policy that became controversial, to which we retreated on as the opinion of the public was not in its favor. We pushed for eased constitutuional restrictions for foreign embassies without breaching the values of the region, but leaving the possibility of statutory regulations if the OP chooses. We started on brainstorming resolutions for the region to propose to the WA, which we will be seeking to continue actively. We haven't achieved everything from our goals last term, which we now seek to pursue in our second term if we are so fortunate to be re-elected:
• Restart the City of Culture, SLU Parliament, and Council of Leaders, continue with Diplomacy, News Room, etc.
• Promote the use of Twitter accounts for our nations and/or nation's leaders and newsrooms
• Continue development of the mentor program to help new nations adapt into the region and all it has to offer
• Continue WA resolution development to promote liberal progressive policies and values in the General Assembly of the WA.
• Initiate debate competitions between SLU and fellow embassy regions
• Continue governmental engagement in the RMB
• Encourage use of our legal system into an active system of checks & balances and settlement of disputes between Member States (could use the Court as RP International Court of Justice as well?)
• Promote the use of Twitter accounts for our nations and/or nation's leaders and newsrooms
• Continue development of the mentor program to help new nations adapt into the region and all it has to offer
• Continue WA resolution development to promote liberal progressive policies and values in the General Assembly of the WA.

We will no longer seek "out-of-the-bubble" foreign policy unless there is popular support for it, so we will continue to pursue close diplomatic relationships with regions of similar interests and values as our own.
If there are any questions, feel free to reply to this thread. We will be happy to participate in any debates.
