Member state Freeland Newworldia, seconded by Austerain, pursuant to Article 12 Section 3 of the Constitution, proposes that the Open Parliament establish an embassy with The Region That Has No Big Banks, hereafter referred to as TRTHNBB. Voting shall last for 7 days.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Constitutional Requirements Statement
The proposed region:
1. Has a democratic admission requirement for states
TRTHNBB's Constitution states: "...The membership of this region shall consist of any nation within NationStates that supports Bernie Sanders and/or the ideology of Democratic Socialism, but other nations are allowed entry as long as they do not help further the spread of hate."
2. Is democratically structured
TRTHNBB's Constitution provides for a democratic government with both elected and appointed public offices, which may subject to impeachment in the event of wrongdoing.
3. Has a preference for socialist or social liberal economic systems
Prescribed for by TRTHNBB's Constitution, as already mentioned in item 1.
4. Does not have an embassy with any enemy of the SLU
TRTHNBB's publicly-available embassy list has been checked.
5. Does not support fascism or slavery
Would be incompatible with TRTHNBB's constitutionally-enshrined core values.
6. The Founder or the World Assembly Delegate of the region have been active within the last week
Verified.
7. At least twenty separate member nations have been active for in the previous two weeks
Clearly evident.
8. At least a quarter of its members are members of the World Assembly
28 out of 111 nations (25.23 percent).
9. Not have sent out embassy requests to a number of other region within the past two weeks, or has more than ten embassies, all sent within the past month
TRTHNBB has over 100 embassies, however, this requirement can be waived upon popular support and if the region meets the other requirements for an embassy, which it does.
