A New Face
Having only recently joined the Social Liberal Union, Conwy-Shire has enjoyed close on 40 days of member-status within the region, nevertheless, The Federate Union of @conwyshire has put up their hand in running for the esteemed position of Minister for Immigration; and here's why...
- Ease of Access:
Having only arrived a short while ago, I have experienced the fluent and welcoming work of the previous Immigration ministry under Lamatama's acting position. I hope to help in the gargantuan effort of creating an accessible and nation-friendly region in conjunction with the other ministries and government positions; and to this end I'd like to streamline the process of entrance, namely creating a more in-depth and comprehensive list of tips and guidelines upon which Member-State status can be achieved. I would also make the Ministry more accessible to nations both inside and outside of the region, creating a liaison between nations who wish to join this lovely region in an effective and mature manner.
- Book Keeping:
From my current position as a fledgling member-state, I've noticed a concerning lack of transparency from the Immigration Ministry, although this lack of communication is most likely of little concern to the running of nations within the SLU, I find that the lack of access of member-states to a 'List of non-member states' as outlined in Section 3.3 of the 'Governmental Re-organisation Act' quite strange, and from the point of view of a non-member, it creates another barrier between non-member states and both the member states and ministries which they aspire to. This lack of transparency needs to stop, and I hope that a term in the ministerial office of Immigration will allow me to clear that issue, and any other issues raised by anyone concerning this vital ministry and the ideals/actions it seeks to uphold.
- Ministerial Co-operation:
A vibrant region. That's what we all work towards, whether we are or aren't partaking of ministerial duties, and such action needs to be spear-headed by those unto whom the region bestows the right upon, the Ministries. Those who aspire to a ministerial position need to be active, eager, and willing to slave through tough times to see their work complete; and in the space of my 40 days here, I've seen that many here a capable of such feats, including the friendly Lamatama who is also running a bid to the ministry. This region is full of capable nations, and yet many more nations who share our ideals and beliefs cannot participate within our regional community, due to the fact that they do not know we exist. This remedy can be fixed by simply mass telegramming new nations, yet this solution also brings it's own problems, namely recruitment filtering, costs, and the possibility of recruiting nations who may eventually cause negative actions towards our constitution and the region it protects. The Ministry of Immigration can play it's part in other ways though, which will interact with forum-goers, region-based nations, and of course the member-states which the Ministry of Immigration serves.
Through such actions, I can thoroughly endorse the notion that @conwyshire can and will provide the securities and freedoms the Social Liberal Union enshrines and embodies in such a way as to execute the many responsibilities of the Office of the Ministry of Immigration.
I hope that you also give thorough consideration to @lamatana's Bid for the Ministry, and I hope that the both of us can and will serve the region faithfully
Kindest Regards,
@conwyshire
