What new direction do you see RP taking, and how do you envisage generating interest in any new RPs?

Good question! I envision that we'll do much more economic RP. Some war RP wouldn't hurt, and some fantasy would help. Diplomacy should play a big role in this. One reason I believe NS forum RPs are great is because more RP minded players could be attracted. A council definitely wouldn't hurt, and a free trade agreement with frequent trade would certainly help us. I think our problem is that we're huge, but we attract the issue answerers- those who don't RP but just answer issues. I would like to ask all the Immigration candidates to help get more RPers, with measures such as RP oriented welcome TGs. All in all, ideological names such as the Social Liberal Union attract issue answerers, but visible RP converts them and gets more RPers.

That all makes sense, and looks like a coherent set of plans, Zunky. however I must confess that I am far more willing to RP on our own forums then NS side, and that I don't care that much for economics and trade, will you be implementing anything to encourage the creation of RPs by our citizens on this forum, if elected?

Yes, I will; our forums will remain as a pillar in the SLU RPing community, and I think some detective RPs would be nice. As for incentivization, there's the straight path: copy some other regions and offer an "RP points system." But I think the best path will be education on good RPing, combined with, perhaps, a list of current RPs on the WFE; that way, new RPers will come. I would also urge the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop relations with RP regions, and I think Ceni's sports RP plan is solid, though, personally, I would extend it to more than just sports.

Thanks for the Answer, Zunky. That follows quite well. When you say Ceni's sports RP plan, does that mean the integregional leagues that he mentioned? If so, then on which forums would they be hosted?

Yeah, I do. As for that, I think the NS forums or maybe one of the three forums. The hassle of creating and being active on a new forum has proven too much in the past.

Indeed it has, though likewise nations of the other two regions would have to create accounts on whichever of the three was hosting, if on the NS forums then it takes many outside of their comfort zone. Either way, it has risks for participation rates. So a balance between RP types and how wide the participation net is cast seems sensible to me.Thank you for the answers, Zunky.
