I guess Im first to the podium.
General: I am the All-Saints Paradise of Goncar and we have been in the SLU for a year and a half. We have been a longstanding active member of the SLU. We have run in four Delegate elections (None won) and 2 Ministerial elections. We, first, ran for Deputy Minister of Defense and was elected as Millyland's deputy and was mostly elected as last term's Minister of Defense.
Previous Jobs in the SLU: Former Ambassador to UPFS Current Ambassador to ALH Former Deputy Minister of Defense (To Millyland) Minister of Defense (Deputy: Nytavuthar)
Accomplishments: Created [glow=red,2,300]Undercover Nations of the SLU(UNSLU)[/glow], an organisation that has undercover puppets in major raider organisations.
Helped get the Defense Minstry get recognized by the SLU as an official ministry.
Defended the SLU from possible raids as allies were raided.
Plans For the Future: Upgrade the UNSLU to a fully operational organisation in the SLU to protect the SLU even further.
Execute Prosecutions of the violaters of the Constitution
Create more jobs inside the Defnse Ministry.
Thanks guys! Please post your questions here in this thread. Thanks!

Campaign season is in full swing, and there is a full slate of candidates for Defense Minister. So, the question on everyone's mind is: why, out of all the possible candidates, should I vote for you?
Allow me to elaborate on why I believe that I, Bonaria, am the best candidate for the job.
As I said in the WA Delegate election, I am a relative newcomer to the SLU, but not to NationStates. I have served in other governments (as other nations) during my time in this grand game. From reorganizing near-dead political parties into political machines to serving as WA Delegate of Eastern Europe for a time, I have been involved in various aspects of government. I have been a winner and a loser, but I have always been involved.
What can I bring to the Defense Ministry? One thing is a fresh point of view. I do not mean to attack fellow candidate and current defense minister Goncar with this statement; he has performed well as Defense Minister. However, getting fresh points of view in the government is never, I believe, a bad thing.
If made Defense Minister, I will, of course, be vigilant of threats to the region. I will promote and, ideally, expand UNSLU through the creation of a new post within the Ministry: the Director of Intelligence of the SLU. This post will be responsible for monitoring threats to the region, as well as infiltrating the threats to our democracy. I would also like, through the Ambassadors, to establish better lines of communication with allied regions regarding a coordinated defense against threats.
Our region is superb, and we need to be sure that she is safe against those who would dishonor her fame. I believe that I am the best man for the job, and I am happy to take any questions that my fellow nations may have.
Thank you!
