November 2012 Election

Speaker of the Union
Nominations for Speaker will end at the start of voting. Voting will begin at 00:00 UTC on the 3rd (3 Nov. 2012) Please announce your nominations for Speaker of the Union here. Legally, you may nominate yourself. Please note, however, that states traditionally are nominated by other states for this position. If you are nominated by another state, you must accept the nomination. Once nominated and accepted, please start up your own campaigning thread in which you can give your platform and answer any questions on your candidature. ...If you are nominated by another state, you must accept the nomination... I'm not sure that we must accept (Article 4, Section 1 of the constitution states nothing about it), but in any case, I accept my nomination; thank you Luxembourg-Belgium. This is going to be fun! ;D |

I would like to thank Goncar for the nomination, but I cannot accept it- I would not do the region justice as Speaker, and would rather focus on other areas at present. I wish the candidates the very best!
