Not saying anything against him. Remember most Swedes was for Norway's liberation from the union.

I don't know my dads family line past my grandfather, but it's highly possible considering were spelled identically out of the 30 or so ways to write Michelsen, and from the same area my family emigrated from. I wouldn't be surprised if I am :0
Ever since I tea about him a few years ago I've wanted to work at the Christian Michelsen Institute. They do some nice work.

There's also Alfonso Michelsen from South America in the 1970's xD died a few years ago before I found out about him, so i'l never talk to him, and he was a budding socialist!
My Dad would tell me stories about how i'm related to "Bloodex" Michelsen, someone he said was the epitemy of a viking and pillaged tons of villages :P
Who do you know of relation to Avaerilon?

Wow! Very interesting; shame about just missing Alfonso. "Bloodex" sounds like a colourful character! And a good fighter, too ;D If I am indeed a real Williams (since the name is actually from the same area of Wales, it's quite possible), then I am related to this king. I am a genuine descendent of the great Scots poet Rabbie Burns on my dad's side as well, and am legally allowed to wear the Burns tartan, along with Clan Campbell's (since Campbell protected Burns).

I'm not related to anyone famous at all. My grandfather had quite a large automobile dealership for which he was known in the region, but that is about all as to famous people in my family.

No British Prime Minister has been elected without the support of the Murdoch-owned press since 1979. The only buck in the trend was when the Conservative Party failed to get a majority in the 2010 General Election, and had to rely on forming a Coalition with the Liberal Democrats- Murdoch's political enemies.

On 4 February 1994 prime minister of Sweden Carl Bildt (now the minister of foreign affairs) sent the first (public known) electronic message to the US president Bill Clinton where he praised Bill for ending Vietnam trade embargo.

Most Dutch Ministers by tradition have at least two University degrees. The Prime Minister usually is a social sciences major. The current de facto PM, Mark Rutte, is a history major. Jan-Peter Balkenende, who was the PM the eight years before Rutte's term, was a Professor in Christian Values & Thought.

A average swede eats about 18kg annually of loose candy and about 100 million (350g on average) bags of loose candy is sold annually. This mean that swedes has the highest consumption of loose candy in the world ;D and also the largest import of candy.
but sweden is ranked 21 in obesity so yeah. :P
