Absolutely Animo! After the season closes, we'll probably lock and archive these threads and start up new ones for next season. This Ice Hockey League is the only one that really got going though the American Football one was completed (albeit with less members).
There's also been talk of a soccer one which would be a good addition for next season.

The 21st week match-up results are in!
Michutopia Lions 5 - 16 Team Baccano
NAR Robins 14 - 9 Cemaes Puffins
Eggy's Cookies 15 - 5 Ratateague Gliders
Gunir Wyverns 12 - 9 Azerzia Snakes
The Puffins voodoo continued as the Robins beat them for a 3rd time in 3 matches this season and as a result the lead narrowed as the Wyverns record-breaking run was extended to 7-in-a-row as they beat nearest rivals the Snakes. As a result, the Wyverns leapfrogged the Snakes into 2nd place.
The Gliders meanwhile created an unwanted record for themselves as they failed to win for a record-breaking 7th consecutive match against the Cookies. As a result, going into the final week of regular season matches, the Cookies and the Baccanos who defeated the bottom placed Lions are closing in on the 4th placed Gliders.

Looking ahead to the final week of the regular season, the Puffins will seek to claim the final two points that they need to win the league trophy whilst the in-form Wyverns will look to continue their winning run as they enter the play-offs with a victory against the out-of-sorts Gliders. The Snakes meanwhile will seek to snatch back 2nd place with a good result against the Baccanos.
With jockeying for position in readiness for the play-offs, the regular season is coming to an exciting conclusion!

Michutopia Lions 9 - 8 NAR Robins
Eggy's Cookies 4 - 18 Cemaes Puffins
Gunir Wyverns 15 - 5 Ratateague Gliders
Azerzia Snakes 13 - 8 Team Baccano
The Puffins completed their regular season campaing by sealing the league trophy with a comfortable win against the Cookies. The Wyverns meanwhile confirmed 2nd place after extending their incredible run to 8 wins-in-a-row against the failing Gliders who failed to win themselves for an 8th match. As a result, they slipped to 5th place behind the Baccanos despite their defeat to the Snakes.
The bottom placed Lions meanwhile gave themselves something to cheer about after they defeated the 7th placed Robins in a close encounter.

The Championship Play-Off Quarter-Final results are in!
Cemaes Puffins 13 - 7 Michutopia Lions
Team Baccano 3 - 18 Ratateague Gliders
Azerzia Snakes 6 - 14 Eggy's Cookies
Gunir Wyverns 11 - 11 NAR Robins
The Puffins avoided a shock by scoring a hard fought win against the Lions. The Gliders meanwhile ended an 8 match winless run by trouncing the Baccanos in their match-up. The Cookies meanwhile turned the form book on its head with a surprise win against the Snakes. Finally, the in-form Wyverns who went into the play-offs on the back of an 8 match winning streak were held to a tense tie against the gritty Robins. But on their league form, it is the Wyverns who progress through to the semi-finals.
Looking ahead to the second week of the play-offs, the Championship semi-finals match-ups are as follows:
Cemaes Puffins V Eggy's Cookies
Gunir Wyverns V Ratateague Gliders
The Puffins and the Wyverns will both hope to prove the league form book accurate to respectively shake-off the rejuvenated Cookies and Gliders.

Team Baccano V NAR Robins
All four will seek to respond to their disappointing championship play-off defeats by securing consolation silverware by progressing to the Plate final.

The Puffins and the Wyverns suffered shock defeats as the Cookies and the Gliders turned the league form book upside down and book their places in the big season-ending finale.
Meanwhile, in the consoltation Plate semi-finals, the match-up results are as follows:

Team Baccano 10 - 8 NAR Robins
