Got it. Well, around me, we just mispronounce words (water is wudder, crayon is craon [crown], etc) and say 'hoagie' instead of 'grinder' or 'sub'

South Jersey. Not North Jersey. In North Jersey they mess up 'or' (Yaahk for York, Caah for car, etc) and its a sub or a sandwich

I speak only english. I mean I took two years of spanish like every kid from kentucky when I was in high school but my teacher either wasn't very good or I had no talent for it cause all I got out of those two years was bueno's dio's and I might have spelt it wrong I just don't know. I do know sign language since I have a younger sister who is deaf. But besides that it's a lot of desire with little motivation, I'd love to love another language in order to travel confidently, but honestly I probably won't learn another language till america's most spoken language is something besides english.

I know you meant New Jersey when you said NJ Goncar (a few months late on this comment). But South Jersey and North Jersey accents are very different if you do live in New Jersey. Since we are talking about languages I felt the need to specify
