Kanorians are often portrayed either as somewhat pessimistic, arrogant, isolationist and thoroughly detestable fellows who don't bother to learn foreign languages properly or, inversely, happy Italic-Celtic Vikings who like spears and drink a lot and find most anything funny, but have a strong distaste for foreign things, especially languages. Noöne is really sure where either portrayal originated from, as both seem mostly unfounded.

New dePolderians are usually seen as hard-working people like farmers, builders, or engineers, if a little gruff, or even brusque. A significant number of historical films involving ships on the high seas usually employ a New dePolderian as an officer or captain on the vessel, usually a hard-nosed, no-nonsense man of honour, certainly able to hold his own in a sword fight, and he'll be damned if the ship goes down in the storm, etc. etc.. Films or TV series with a more modern setting often portray New dePolderians as open-minded people who are incredibly friendly once their confidence has been secured.

The Lyannic Visual Media tends to focus on Chameliya as a prime destination for anthropologists, showing many of them talking loudly and borderline insultingly to camera about the countries citizens. The Leysannic government has to apologise for this. Radio however shows Chameliyan citizens often as shy but welcoming insular groups, of proud people who share freely. Newspapers seem to pick a characterisation by rolling a dice.

Kanorians are viewed as headstrong northerners. They are shown as simple, but not primitive. Most portrayals are through cultural documentaries and books published by immigrants from across the SLU. If you were to ask the average 'Ataman they would say that Kanoria is a place of many beauties and mysteries. A culture and climate that few 'Atamans have ever experienced let alone stigmatized.

The Chámelíyálí media has a strongly pro-Lamatama stance, often citing it as an open and tolerant society, and a model for Chámelíyá to follow. This is perhaps in part to the perception of the Bahá'í faith being one similar and compatible with, although most definitely distinct from, mainstream Chámelíyálí spirituality. When it comes to the 'Ataman people themselves, they are viewed as a quiet but hospitable nation. Adjectives like principled and strong-willed are often used to describe the average 'Ataman as well as adjectives like relaxed and open.

Chameliya is viewed with an air of respected exoticism by most Westerheimers, and its people have a reputation as diligent and hard workers, especially in French-speaking cities such as Liege, Mons, and Brussels, due to the growing population of entrepreneurs and small-business owners from Chameliya. Many young Westerheimers go backpacking in Chameliya during their holidays, in order to escape the cold and wet of Northern Europe for a few weeks. All such backpackers have nothing but positive things to say.

Westerheim is usually portrayed in a very positive light in Mons Garle, not only because of the shared Germanic heritage that exists between the two countries, but also because of the perception that Westerheimers are a tolerant yet strong-willed people.
Many Mons Garlean students spend their exchange time in Westerheim, and many citizens visit the country during their holidays to experience the history and culture of a nation that pre-dates Mons Garle's colonial origins by a considerable amount.

Mons Garle is often portrayed as a quiet, conscientious country, with any characters hailing from the nation in television or film usually filling the role of the well-travelled, sensible, diplomatic voice. This is true of both Germanic Mons Garlean characters and indigenous Mons Garlean characters. Outside of fiction, this idea of a multicultural, diverse place, yet quiet and peaceful remains, and the country has become popular with academics for various aspects of study. There is also an increasing number of Avaerilonians who are naturally drawn to that kind of atmosphere and choosing Mons Garle for their next holiday.

Lawattsians are portrayed by the media in several different ways. One stereotypical way would be to portray them as stuffy cheese-mongers or bookeepers after the nation's two largest export industries. More comedic portrayals usually involve windbag politicians who drone on endlessly.
A nicer portrayal is of a nation of loyal, hard working, and socially progressive people who still wish to adhere to a traditional way of doing things.

My nation's media portrays Lawattsian people as a bunch of rich fatcats (OOC: due to your efficient economy) and politically oppressed working class who can't speak what's on their minds because of the oppressive government (OOC: due to my nation having about 30 points more political freedoms than your country does)

Having been a frenemy of Hirematia for millennia, Courelli is portrayed in a very nuanced way in Hirematia. Cities like Leoncavallo and Picci are raved about by Hirematiyaale vacationers, and are renowned for their beauty. Courellian food is popular in Hirematia as well. More open-minded news networks and radio shows frequently feature Courellian guests, and the audience of these programs sees Courelli as a haven for culture, education, and friendly people. However, ugly stereotypes and prejudices still affect how Courelli is portrayed in Hirematiyaale media, with less open elements of Hirematiyaale society seeing Courellians as snobbish, intolerant, and holding primitive religious views.

The majority of the coverage that covers Hirematia is related to the wider SLU and its policies and politics. The majority of what is covered in Harndon goes on to talk about the richness of Hirematian culture and its history, and - having both been historical enemies of the Courellians - its affinity. Although many Harndonians hold the view that Hirematians follow the same destructive tendencies as many of the more settled peoples, the majority see them as a good enough sort, despite the historic aversion to colonialism and imperialism that still clouds the Harndonian view and coverage of the world. Outside of the incredibly messy picture of Harndonian political thinking, Hirematia is praised for its forward-looking policies and openness to the more adventurous Harndonian would-be tourists.
