That or we can force them out of reality; we put them in a slipstream and crush them out of the universe by ramping it up to full power and collapsing the slipstream. Or fire them into the sun. Also, acid wouldn't work as they are strong enough to not melt with the acid within them.

Hm, we'd have to round them up first, and we don't have much time. The rotting food is probably the quickest solution. Using acid would work; we have acid in our stomachs, but we can de destroyed if we are dunked in a vat of it. Like us, the flies have a protective mucus which prevents the acid from disintegrating them. However, they are just as vulnerable to strong acids attacking the exterior as we are.

'pose so. Rotting food sounds good, but if we use my slipstream afterwards there's nothing left at all.

It might be difficult to tempt the flies into the slipstream; perhaps if they were space flies, it would be a different story!

How quickly could we get the cadavers up to the slipstream, and how long would destruction take?

up to it; how many are there? destruction; instananious, this is because they would be being crushed between space and time themselves, which is where slipstream exists, between space and time...

Emergency Message From: Admiral Parangosky N-SIC HQ To: Geon High Command
Copy that reinforcements are underway plus some additional support from Equum forces. Your new orders are to hold Geon AI core. That AI is critical to our nations defense coordination and do not allow these maggots to capture it. Additional orders are to capture live Maggots for study, i think that these creatures are to smart to be real. Also failing to hold AI core and the entire base will mean that these maggots get their hands on WMD's. Do not lose that base hold it at all cost.

Its a large underground complex under Geon ( Newhallas biggest city) housing AIDIC Artificial Intelligence Defense Coordinator. We think the maggots are trying to take the complex and that they may be sapient because of their unusual organization taking out police station and military assets in one big strike. The may also use the complex as a refuge and be protected inside as the city above limits options to wiping them out.

The GFAF is inbound Newhalla. We will not allow these creatures to take the base, under any circumstance. We are providing two M.A.B.'s, so rougly 1000 UAV's and 800 UGV's. The M.A.B.'s will provide an anti-missile defense system should the situation lose control.

The maggots aren't going to capture WMDs.... they just want to bite people and lay their eggs everywhere. Speaking of which, we found a large nest of eggs in the abandoned mine. We used flame throwers on these, before using the suggested tactic of luring the giant flies with rotting matter. They were then captured with kevlar-woven nets and dumped in vats of acid seized from global chemicals. As of now, we have replicated this capture-kill manoeuvre across Avaerilon and believe all the creatures are now dead.

The maggots are contained in the base by our forces, we have despatched 5 commando squads into the base to hunt and kill them, but if possible trap them with the force field generators we provided them with. Our tanks and walkers are securing the city.

As are ten squads of the NSRF and twelve Plasma Tanks. The main positions are being bombarded with major heavy Laser Cannons.

Stop the bombardment you are killing civilians narg. The complex is underground under the city. And we have also found that the targets the maggots attacked had some kind of bait nearby.
And to all SLU forces please be careful of what you shot at in the city especially in the Old city.

Well this is going to be a long battle there are thousand of maggots inside the city and our military cant kill them all even whit the extra support. More boots and what ever that can kill Maggots is urgently needed in the economical center of Geon.

Tanks squadrons where already ordered not to fire explosives or heavy crystal weapons. Squads 1-7 on route to the economic centre of geon along with tank squadron 5 and heavy walker two, we have dispatched our most veteran commando squad, six-three squad, up the mountain overlooking geon in response to reports from our fighters of suspiciously large amounts of maggot activity, this could explain their seemingly intelligent activity.

Avaerilon, worried about the military action impacting on the surrounding area, and its ineffectiveness, has dropped several tonnes powdered fungus across the stricken regions from several squadrons of our Hurricane carrier aeroplanes. The fungus is in a form that cannot grow and propagate, and poses no threat to human, animal, or plant life. The only thing it impacts are the maggots, which have ingested the fungus and are dying. They are now no longer a threat.

Portegria has begun to fall to the beasts. They appeared near our northwest border in the county of Farrapo and have begun to move towards Farrapos City, the second largest city in our entire nation. As of 15:00 today, the cities of Caxias, Toledo, Porto Alegre, Obamster, Serra, and Canoas have begun evacuating across the Bernkan Straight to the Jernsley Islands. The fortress system created when our nation was colonized is still very much intact, and we hope to create a refugee center on these islands.
WE need aid now, though. Our nation's military and economy is still decimated from the war of independence that we just won and had been fighting for nearly 15 years. Any aid would be appreciated as we launch our counterattack on the mainland. Guns more than anything are a priority, as we anticipate having nearly 2 million militia-men ready to fight within the week.
We weren't ready. They just came out of nowhere, and the flying creatures downed any aircraft we sent to recon the Northern Border. However, we are looking into why they are all converging on Farrapos City. We will update the Council at our earliest convenience. Until then, we will attempt to evacuate all those not infected in Farrapos and other cities. Also, the sections of our elite FRUT Unit will be mobilized to aid in the evacuation.
Universe Help Us.

Avaerilon deems in unnecessary to send Portegria arms, since the maggots and flies are immune to conventional weapons. We will, instead, fly three squadrons of Hurricane aircraft to disperse the fungus over the affected areas. As another measure, we will send enough of the cure to Portegria as it needs. We believe this is all that is necessary at present. However, it is possible that the maggots are converging on an area which has an underground system they would like to pupate in. We will fly our craft in immediately to destroy them with the fungus.
Avaerilon recommends you send a team into Farrapos to find the lair they might be looking for-we will give you any fungus you deem necessary for this mission, should you decide to take it up.

Avaerilon's outlook seems to make sense. The Subway system in Farrapos is the deepest in our entire country. It is quite extensive as well, and will provide adequate shelter from any kind of bombing, conventional or otherwise. Thus, we implore that haste should be taken.
As for the recon team, we had already foreseen this request, and sent a company of FRUT Units into the Subway System. Only two returned from the mission as they stated it was not only impossible to breath but the main force was ambushed by insects with pincers. Has any other nation encountered this threat? We are analyzing all possible course of actions and will notify the council on our next move.
Lastly, my curiosity is whether the fungus can be inserted into cartridges and placed in weapons. That way we can have a fully armed forces. Remember, we are short on military supplies (tanks, aircraft etc.). Our scientists have begun looking into the possibility as I report.
