October–November 2019 World Assembly Delegate Election
According to Article 5, Section 2 of the Third Constitution of the Social Liberal Union and the Voting Reform and Fair Political Practices Act, an election for the office of World Assembly Delegate is now triggered.
Anaaxes is serving as Election Administrator, and will dutifully and impartially execute the duties and powers of that position to the best of their ability. The powers and duties of the Delegate are mainly outlined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Constitution; however, a summary of those duties can be found here. The term for Delegate is to last four months, beginning on Sunday, 10 November 2019, and ending on Sunday, 1 March 2020, and may be renewed once consecutively.
Nominations will last for a period of seven days, starting Monday, 21 October 2019, and concluding Monday, 28 October 2019.
Any Member State may nominate themself (if eligible) or another eligible Member State (subject to their acceptance) to run for this position.
Eligible States are those who:
Are Member States, as defined by the Constitution
Have been Member States for at least three months prior to Sunday, 10 November 2019 (since at latest 18 August 2019)
Have not served two consecutive terms as Delegate immediately preceding this election
Voting will begin thereafter, within two days after the close of nominations. Nominees:
